ARTS AND ENRICHMENT

The Arts & Enrichment committee focuses on programming events that enrich the creative culture at UVa. We aim to promote a culture of expression and sharing of art, may it be visual, musical, or dramatic.

CINEMA

The Cinema committee strives to enrich the student experience through free advanced screenings, weekly movie screenings, and programming for a diverse university and greater Charlottesville Community

CULTURAL CONNECTIONS

Cultural Connections aims to foster a broader sense of community on Grounds through cultural programming and by partnering with a diverse array of student organizations.

LATE NIGHT

The Late Night mission is to enhance the student experience by offering a wide array of activities for students to attend. Late Night strives to kick start the weekends at UVa with events for students by students.

PKG CONCERTS

PKG strives to spend the school year planning the highest quality concert and music-related events on Grounds for the UVA and Charlottesville community. We aim to bring together the Charlottesville and UVA music communities and showcase music in all forms at UVA, from student bands and performers to DJs and national acts. We love organizing events that allow us to display some of the student body’s music tastes and interests with the community at large.

MARKETING

The Marketing committee's mission is to increase overall awareness about UPC and promote individual UPC events through the use of traditional & creative marketing strategies. We aim to incorporate all the dimensions of marketing, such as social media marketing, email marketing, video marketing, and brand marketing in order to build UPC’s reputation. We strive to create and curate content that engages and inspires the UVA and Charlottesville community.

SPECIAL EVENTS

The mission of Special Events is to program fun, light-hearted events to bring students together and enhance the overall student experience on both a large and small scale. We aim to promote and create spaces for improved mental health environments on Grounds.

SMILES n GIGGLES (SnG)

From improv to stand-up, the UPC SnG committee is responsible for showcasing comedic entertainment in all forms at UVA and providing educational comedy enrichment to the UVA student body.
